In a unique circumstance, both Ian and Leslie are also masters runners (over 40) so they are listed as both the open winners AND the masters winners. Way to go Ian and Leslie. What: A Family Fun Run on Thanksgiving Day Morning. 3-4 mile trail run for adults, 1K fun run for kids. All abilities welcome!
Where: Mary S. Young Park - West Linn, OR
When: THANKSGIVING DAY MORNING - Thursday, November 24, 9am Kids Run 8:45am
Why: A benefit and food drive for the West Linn Food Pantry
How: Get your turkey in the oven, grab the kids and come run a few trails in the park for a good cause.
 
How to Register:  Note: Strollers are not allowed on 4 mile course.
YOU MAY REGISTER AT PORTLAND RUNNING COMPANY ON WEDNESDAY 11/23 FROM 10-6PM OR AT THE RACE THANKSGIVING MORNING BEGINNING AT 7AM.
Wear a costume!! Come as a turkey, a pilgram or a native american indian or even come as a pie!! You can also come as yourself. :)

*you may register at packet pick up or the morning of the race however mugs are only guaranteed to the first 300 participants. 
Family Fun Race Course: Outside adventure for everyone!
 The Turkey Trot will meander through the beautiful tree lined trails inside of Mary S. Young Park in West Linn, Oregon. The course will be well marked and well supported and approximately 3-4 miles long. The Kids Trot will run on the bark chip trail for an out and back trail course and will be 1K in distance. The Kids Trot is for kids 7 years and younger. Be sure and wear your trail shoes and clothes that can get muddy and dirty or your Thanksgiving costume for extra fun!! Both runners and walkers are welcome - all abilites.

AWARDS: Pumpkin Pies & Pumpkin Spiced/Egg Nog latte's too!
 The race is untimed but we will keep track of your place. We will be giving away yummy pumpkin pies to random place finishers so be ready to win a pie to take home for dinner, you earned it! Thanks to Willamette Coffee House, our local coffee shop, where everyone knows your name. We will be giving away pumpkin spice and egg nog latte's to random finishers...YUM! 
Fees:
Turkey Trot: $15 per person + 2 cans of food for the West Linn Food Panty Drive. Includes race number, great course, calorie loss, hot apple cider and coffee and a sweet treat and especially great community pride. For pre-registered runners you will also receive a commemorative Turkey Trot mug to use at your family Thanksgiving dinner! Mugs will be given to the first 300 participants, sign up today!
Kids Trot: 7 years and younger. $10 + 1 can of food for the West Linn Food Pantry. Same yummy goodies and cool mug to use at the race and at dinner!! No tshirts for the kids race or the adult race, cool mugs instead! Mugs will be given to the first 300 participants, sign up today!
Note: This race is giving away mugs and NOT tshirts. First 300 to register! Fill your mug with yummy coffee or cider after the race compliments of Willamette Coffee House!
